#341 - Claude Giroux


Giroux took over the role as first line centre for the club at the beginning of the 2011-12 hockey season. He would end the season as both the Flyers' top regular season point-scorer (93 points) and top playoff point scorer (17 points).

#350 - Sean Couturier


Couturier was drafted eighth overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

He would make an impression during training camp and start the 2011–12 season with the Flyers. Couturier was one of the youngest players to participate in the NHL All-Star Game festivities, named on the rookie team and participating in the skills competition.

#47 - Jonas Hiller


Hiller posted a 29-30-12 record during the 2011-12 NHL season, recording 4 shutouts.

#50 - Sheldon Souray


Souray was signed by the Dallas Stars on July 1, 2011, to a one-year contract. Having recovered from his injuries, Souray made a successful comeback with the Stars, taking on more of a defensive role than in the recent past, particularly at even strength. However, he continued to still see plenty of ice time on the power play.

On November 4, 2011, Souray reached a milestone when he scored the 100th NHL goal of his career in a 7–6 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

#471 - Mike Ribeiro


The 2011-12 season would be Ribeiro's last as a member of the Dallas Stars. He would be traded to the Washington Capitals in exchange for Cody Eakin and a 2012 second-round draft pick (54th overall) during the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

#497 - Award Winners, Brian Campbell


Brian Campbell became the first defenceman since Red Kelly in the 1953–54 season to win the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability.

#56 - Tyler Seguin


Tyler Seguin would explode in his sophomore season registering 29 goals and 67 points in 81 games as a member of the Bruins.

On November 5, 2011, Seguin scored his first career NHL hat-trick against the team that traded the draft pick to the Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs.

#4 - Season Highlight, Bobby Ryan

#208 - Tomas Kopecky


The 2011-12 NHl season would be Tomas Kopecky's first in the 'Sunshine State'. Suiting up for the Panthers in 80 regular season games, Kopecky would score 10 goals and register 32 points.

#477 - Dustin Byfuglien


Byfuglien scored 12 goals along with 41 assists during the 2011–12 season that saw the Thrashers move to Winnipeg. He appeared in 66 games for the Jets that season.

#527 - Hot Rookies, Cody Goloubef


Goloubef would get his first taste of NHL action during the 2011-12 season, seeing the ice for a single NHL game.

Obtained: Via eBay purchase.

#230 - Jarret Stoll


On June 11, 2012, Stoll won his first Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings, their first championship in history of the franchise, against the New Jersey Devils.

He re-signed with the Kings for three years and $9.75 million on June 25, 2012.

#144 - Peter Mueller


Mueller spent the majority of the 2011-12 NHL season on the IR, suffering from both post-concussion syndrome and a groin injury. He would return to the Colorado lineup during January and suit up for 32 games notching 7 goals and 16 points to finish the season.

After the conclusion of a two-year contract that was decimated by injury with the Colorado Avalanche - he would not receive a a qualifying offer prior to the opening of NHL free agency on July 1, 2012, making him an unrestricted free agent. On July 11, 2012 Mueller signed a one-year, $1.725 million contract with the Florida Panthers.

#107 - Jiri Tlusty


Tlusty set career highs with 18 goals and 36 points during the 2011-12 NHL season; playing in 79 games for the Carolina Hurricanes. He was re-signed by the Hurricanes to a two-year contract worth $3.2 million.

#305 - Evgeni Nabokov


Nabokov saw his first action on Long Island with the New York Islanders during the 2011-12 season after being claimed off waivers in January 22, 2011.

He would start in 42 games etching a record of 19-18-3.

#474 - Mathieu Perreault


2011-12 was Mathieu Perreault's first full season in the NHL. As a member of the Washington Capitals he would registered 16 goals and 30 points in 64 regular season games.

#402 - Alexander Steen


Steen would play only 43 games for the Blues during the 2011-12 regular season, missing 39 games due to concussion syndrome.

In those 43 games Steen would register 15 goals and 28 points. He would play all 9 post season games with St. Louis, tallying another goal and 2 assists.

#3 - Season Highlight, Anze Kopitar


During the season opener faceoff between the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers in Stockholm on October 7, 2011 - Kopitar spoiled the show for Henrik Lundqvist, notching a goal and an assist in a Kings' 3-2 overtime win.

#407 - T.J. Oshie


In 2011–12, Oshie led the St. Louis Blues (tied with David Backes) in total points with a career high 54; 19 goals and 35 assists. 

Oshie would also suit up for his 200th career NHL game on November 17, 2011 and record his 100th career assist on February 16, 2012.

Obtained: Via a trade with a fellow collector.

#242 - Nick Johnson


In the 2011–12 season, Johnson earned a regular checking line role on the Wild, playing in a career high 77 games to recorded 8 goals and 26 points.

Despite his successful season with the Wild, Johnson was released as a free agent and on July 11, 2012, he was signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Phoenix Coyotes.
